compliance-calendar.ca helps Canadian small businesses keep track of tax and filing deadlines. We collect as little as we can and never sell your information.
The free calendar
When you build a calendar without an account, your answers are sent to our server to calculate the dates and are not stored. Your browser keeps a copy for the current tab only, so we can prefill the form if you create an account.
Accounts
With an account we store your email address, a salted hash of your password, the answers for each business you save, the checklist ticks and notes you add, any documents you attach, and the reminder settings you choose. This lets us show your calendar and send reminders.
Data is stored in a Microsoft SQL Server database and is encrypted in transit. Documents are only available to you when signed in.
We send account emails (confirmation, password reset) and, if you subscribe and turn them on, deadline reminders. You can turn reminders off at any time in your settings.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. We keep the subscription status and renewal date.
Your choices
You can edit or delete any business, and delete your account and everything in it from Reminders & settings. Deleting your account also cancels your subscription.
